 Great DLO Genuine Leather Case January 3, 2009
This is a wonderful case.
First there is no disgusting smell when first opening the package, only the great smell of genuine leather. This may have been an issue addressed because of previous complaints.
The case seems sturdy and holds the iPod touch 16 Gig 2nd Generation very well. It does not slide out of the case and all of the screen (including the home button) is easily accessed. The only part of the 2nd generation iPod that is covered is the volume rocker, but this is easily pressed through the leather on the side.
On the inside of the case there is a smooth felt fabric that protects the iPod from scratches when sitting in the case.
There are two weak magnets at the base of the case. They are strong enough to hold the flap shut but will not interfere with the device.
I recommend this case for everyone who owns an iPod touch. It is a very nice leather case with a good belt strap. It offers great protection for the screen with the leather flap.
 Good product but no storage January 2, 2009
I love the fliptop cover and knowing the ipod is protected by the soft leather, so I'm glad I bought it. Two negatives are: 1) leather cover makes it awkward to reach corners on keyboard, etc., but even that is a minor inconvenience; 2) There is no place to put the earphones. A friend has one with a place on the back - not as nice as my leather, but more portable for the wires.
Great case January 2, 2009
Good feel, good look, does precisely what it's supposed to do - protect the iPod touch without hindering operation. There's no cover on the touch screen which I appreciate. When not in use, the screen is well protected with a magnetized cover. I really like that the iPod can be charged or used with the iFly in the car without removing from the case. Of course, the earphone jack is also accessible. I see no reason to ever remove the iPod from the case which is a good thing, right? High recommendation over any other cases I've seen and I looked at a lot.

superb case for iPod iITouch 2G December 22, 2008
My goal was to find a flip case that fully protected my iTouch 16 gb second generation while I carried it in my pocket, but which could easily be removed when I used the iPod, and also could be left in place if I wanted. This case is it.
This case was designed for the first generation iTouch, so the volume button on the left is not accessible when the case is on. But it doesn't matter because there is an onscreen volume control, so I virtually never use the volume button anyhow. The docking port and earphone jack are always available, and the auto light sensor is available when the flip lid is open. That makes sense since screen brightness is irrelevant when the flip lid is closed and the screen is covered.
The case is well made, looks nice, is easy to carry in a pocket or outside using the belt clip, and is very easy to remove from the iTouch. The flip lid covers the entire screen and has a magnetic closure to stay shut.
Another review correctly notes that using the onscreen keyboard as well as the button on the bottom can be slightly challenging because the case is so close to the edge of the screen, but it just takes a little practice to get used to.
I do not like using screen protectors unless absolutely necessary, and with the flip lid to protect the iTouch in transit, I feel no need to use a screen protector.
There are heavier duty cases, such as the Agent 18, but they are noticeably thicker than this case, which is the slimmest case covering both front and back that I have found.
For protecting your ITouch 16 gb second generation this case can't be beat.
