 Zune Replacement Battery August 25, 2010

I bought this batter because the battery in my Zune would no longer hold a charge longer a few hours. It came with tools but the instructions were a little vague. Once I was able to separate the players casing halves, the battery installation was a breeze. The included tools were a little flimsy so I resorted to a flat head precision screwdriver for the most part of the separation of the casing. This new battery works like a charm and holds a charge so much better than the last one.

I purchase the replacement battery is for my 3 years old zune. But the battery capacity only 750mA/h lower than exist 800mA/h. However, I still hope it can work better than the old one.
After replacement and full charged, it let me down, work very few hours then exhausted.
Since not many to choose on web, so disappoint.

My daughters Zune up and died after after about 22 months of life. Microsoft support wanted $130 to fix/replace with a refurbished Zune. This battery went in pretty easily (little stretch on the connection) and has been in place six months now with no issue. I'm much happier with the battery than Microsoft and the Zune :)
