in my opinion, this item was unimpressive and disappointing to say the least. it was specific to my item as the description said but was "surprised" when my iPhone short cicuited.I mean I get what I pay for (and now have to pay even more to fix my phone) but whatever. money badly spent; lesson from online shopping learned. if you're considering buying this and don't mind spending $100+ fixing your phone due to the consequences then go for it, by all means :) but if you value to functionality of your phone just spend the $30 and get the oem version from the apple store: satisfaction guaranteed.

This ipod charger works great at first I had doubts because it was only a penny but I thought well im not loosing alot of money so what the heck??? I bought it and love it.

I bought one extra charger made by Belkin on AT&T website for $19.99 and then turn around and bought this one on Amazon for less then $3 dollars for the heck of it. I just wanted to try on different charger to see if it works or not, but guess what, it works with my Iphone 4 like a charm. Perfect charger for my need. I don't understand why I did spend extra $19.99 on AT&T while I can get a few more of this for less than $10.
Greatly recommend it.

I ordered this plug for my vacation to charge my Ipod Touch 2nd generation. I went to charge my Ipod and found that the charger did not charge this particular device. I tried it on several different plugs with no results. I was highly disappointed since I didn't have any other way of charging the Ipod for my return 23 hour trip.
I would not recommend this product for anyone having an Ipod Touch 2nd generation.
