The case was rather nifty until I dropped it from waist level on concrete. It snapped the hinges that keep it shut (it no longer stays closed) and my iPod flew out...

this is a good deal. I just wanted to get a clear case to replace another clear case I bought a couple years ago because it got all scratched up. This one has two handles on the sides to make it easier to open/close and a string holder at the top so you can put it around your neck. Both of these things do make it a little bulkier but it doesn't really bother me. I just cut the string off. Works great for the purpose of not wanting to get my Ipod scratched.

it's cheap and will do the job
but the allure of the ipod nano is definitely it's sleekness
and adding this case makes it super bulky with the two extra buttons on the side that is used to open/close up the case and then also the top portion where a string runs through it.
I'm going to try to return it if possible, but the shipping cost to return it is practically the price of the thing!
